What are the opportunities and potential obstacles for companies in a growing economy? UNESCO published Adriano Galvao’s research into this question in their report on sustainable development.
Adriano and his collaborators created a Strategic Foresight methodology to think across a spectrum of time and to effectively plan for the future. The method was applied to industrial sectors including aeronautical, cosmetics, medical equipment, furniture, naval, leather and shoes, textiles, plastics, construction, automotive, and industrial automation. In any given industry, leaders were asked to think strategically about tactics, strategy, vision and systems-level change.
